About ME

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! My name is Angie Davis and I am currently a Senior Collaborative Arts student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. I have a passion for creative storytelling and utilizing my aesthetic vision to express personal identity infused with whismy and fun. I work in a variety of different mediums, from painting to digital illustration to animation. I am in love with vintage Hollywood film, and try to capture the same classic, romantic beauty from that era of film that inspires me so much. In addition, as a trans woman, I am able to express the femininity that was suppressed in my childhood through my art.

I am also fascinated with the marketing and distribution side of the film industry, and hope to pursue a career in that business. I have taken NYU classes like “Technology’s Impact on the Entertainment Industry”, “Media Industries”, and “Marketing and Distribution for Film” that have helped fuel my interest in this industry.
